Carew Castle is located in Tenby, Pembrokeshire and has a rich history that spans over 2000 years. The castle stands on a limestone bluff, which overlooks the Carew inlet that makes up Milford Haven water way.

The present castle, which replaced an earlier stone keep, is constructed almost entirely from the local Carboniferous limestone, except for some of the Tudor architectural features such as window frames, which are made from imported Cotswold stone. Although originally a Norman stronghold the castle maintains a mixture of architectural styles as modifications were made to the structure over successive centuries.

There have been executions here including unlawful  killings, its no surprise that there have been many reports of spooky goings on at Carew Castle, with an abundance of ghostly sightings at the castle and around the grounds. Visitors have reported having the uneasy feeling of being watched, many people have been touched by unseen hands, including unexplainable dark shadows.

Parking is available at this location. 

Arrival is 15 minutes before the event start time, early admittance is not permitted.
