The guildhall was built in 1579 and was enlarged in 1912. The building was then extended again in 1973. The old guildhall still features much of the original work including the wood paneling which dates back to 1607. There is very little history known about Sandwich Guildhall but this grade II listed building is bursting with history waiting to be told. There are many reports of ghostly sightings and experiences at this old building, which is hardly surprising with the guildhall dating back so far. There are reports of ghostly mists, shadows moving about the building, Rapid drops in temperature and people becoming unwell in certain parts of the old guildhall. Could this be from energy that building has recorded over the years or from energy associated from the land upon which the guildhall is built? We invite you to join us on a ghost hunt at Sandwich Guildhall as we gain night time access to this building to try to uncover more of this buildings history and who or what haunts this historic location.

On events that are priced at £40 or above we offer a non refundable deposit option of £20 per person and the remaining due one month prior to the event.
